Dear Parents,
As you probably noticed, there has been a lot of confusion about the scores "NP" and "P" in my class. "NP" also means "No Pass" and "P" also means "Pass". To resolve this confusion, the district has chosen to change the scores "NP" and "P" to "CP" and "PR".
The possible scores for my class are now "DP = Developing Proficiency" (1), "CP = Close to Proficient" (2), "PR = Proficient" (3), "HP = Highly Proficient (4)".
To clairify: nothing about the grading process has changed, just the Synergy score notation.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Carla Oesterle
